The NZNO National Division of Infection Control Nurses encourages you to present work relating to infection control at the conference to be held in Dunedin 1-3 September 2010.  This is an opportunity to share your research and or practice with colleagues and is open to members and non-members of NDICN.  We encourage submission from all levels and look forward to some new and innovative ideas and experiences.

Hand Hygiene
Technology
Managing Isolation
Surveillance
HIV
Outbreak Management

Call for papers for oral presentations has now closed.  However there will be a poster session at the conference and this will be situated next to the exhibition with delegates encouraged to view posters at meal breaks, please see the Poster Guidelines

Abstracts for posters should be no more than 250 words and submission should be made via the online submission form  and should be sent before 2 August 2010.  Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract to be published in all printed material relating to the conference.

NDICN Poster Award:  Best Poster submitted by NDICN member NZ$200.00.  All entries will be reimbursed up to NZ$100 towards poster development costs.  See the Conditions of Award   and download the Entry Form   (entry forms must be received by 15 August 2010)

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Programme Committee.  Presenting authors will be notified by 10 August regarding the status of their abstract.

There is a requirement that all accepted poster authors are registered delegates and in attendance at the conference.

Best Oral Presentation Award	NZ$3,000.00	New Achiever Award	NZ$500.00
Any current member of the NZNO National Division of Infection Control Nurses who is delivering an oral presentation, and is not a first-time presenter, may apply for this award.  This award is to the value of NZ$3,000 and is to be used for travel, registration and accommodation ocsts to attend the next APIC Conference or other international Infection Control Conference approved by Becton Dickinson.
